Will this help with negative self-talk?
Yes. Thoughts are actually just energy. We are like radio’s. We have the ability to tune into any frequency. The frequency we embody will attract certain thought patterns. Meditate every day, focus consciously on the light within you long enough and attune to the frequency of Christ/Buddha consciousness, thoughts that flow from that space will be of non-judgement, acceptance, forgiveness & unconditional love. Let your mind be pulled down by the gravity of the world, watch news, gossip, get caught up in this low level frequency and you will find yourself thinking thoughts of lack, judgement, guilt, shame etc. We oscillate between frequencies, it ebs and flows according to where you place your attention and where your commitment lies.
Will this help me feel connected to my higher self?
In a session you are connecting to the aspect of you that is aligned and connected to source, you could call it your higher self. Your higher self is waiting to express through you uninhibited but we have blocks to this connection, sometimes to the degree we will completely isolated and in extreme cases have suicidal thoughts. Think of it like a stream of energy, every block, every trauma is like a pebble in the stream. If we don’t go back and look at those, heal and clear them, the pebbles build up until only a tiny trickle is getting through, we feel lost, lose our sense of connection and life purpose, don’t have the energy to manifest consciously and feel as though we are at the effect of the world rather than co-creators of experience. Clearing out the “pebbles” in a session we allow the natural flow of your soul essence to move through you once more, feeling more connected and aligned, you don’t have to try and focus on affirmations etc, these higher vibration thoughts will naturally flow to you and through you.
Will a session help me feel better?
Yes, ultimately. But I’ll be honest, it’s not easy and it may not feel comfortable at the time. In society we love to move away from our pain, numb it with external things, distract ourselves in order to feel better. But delving in deep and healing the root cause is not easy. We are confronting things we have been unconsciously trying to avoid our entire life up to this point. But by owning, meeting and transforming your shadow, you regain your power and potential. You are more of who you came here to be, you come back into alignment with your souls purpose, so yes it will help you feel better, be more confident, attract better relationships, shift physically and feel better in your body.
What can I expect afterwards?
You might feel great, energized by your breakthrough, or you might feel raw and vulnerable as you integrate these new aspects of self. I recommend having the rest of the day free if possible to completely honour what arises within. You may need to nap, take a bath, snuggle up with a hot water bottle, be in nature, carve the space so you can honour your needs following this powerful & transformational process.
What if I didn’t have trauma in my childhood?
We think of trauma as things like abuse but our world and experience is full of trauma. Trauma is something you couldn’t process and integrate at the time it was experienced, so it’s locked down in the subconscious basement. Feeling alone/abandoned when you started preschool, rejected when Dad left, the bright lights and injections when you were birthed, a scolding look or statement from a relative then you were 4, being left to cry it out when you were a baby & feeling like no one is there for you… All of these things are examples of trauma that will express in different ways, getting bigger over time. For example, when dealing with clients that experience social anxiety, they often regress to being a baby and their needs not being met, they are wanting connection and no one is there for them; feeling alone in a crib, that same sense of isolation shows up as overwhelming social anxiety, a block to being able to connect with other people. Once we revisit the root cause (you don’t need to have any idea of what this might be now, it will come to the surface naturally during this process) we energetically change the timeline and as a result the feelings of social anxiety (or whatever your experiencing) are no longer there.
Will this help manifest what I want?
Thing is, this is a law of attraction universe and ALL of you is manifesting. Think of yourself like an ice-berg, we think doing affirmations and thinking positively from the white tip at the surface we will attract what we desire and are confused when it doesn’t manifest into reality. That’s because the whole icerberg- you- is a point of attraction. All those unhealed places underneath the surface, lurking in your subconscious are all points of attraction. It doesn’t matter how many vision boards we have, if we haven’t brought every aspect into alignment, we simply will not line up with our highest life potential and everything that comes with it.
What if I don’t know the root cause of my issue? It’s not necessary to know, and may even be b etter if you don’t because there are no preconceived ideas about the internal connections. Often we think we know, analyse it mentally and never get to the core of it. When working on our own processes we have blind spots and can become stuck. During a session the only thing you need to do is stay completely present with the sensations and emotions you are experiencing. You will be guided through the rest.
Do I need to do anything to prepare before a session?
Once you book in, you will be emailed an intake form and link to a safe haven meditation. No other preparation is necessary. If you are having a session via video chat make sure you’ll be in a private and comfortable space, undisturbed and have tissues and water on hand.
What if I am on medication?
I have a lot of clients that have been through traditional psychology and psychiatry and commence our work while still taking medication for anxiety, depression and other mental illness, that’s fine.
I am not a doctor and would not advise you to stop taking medication in lieu of doing spiritual work, however I can say I have many clients who after working with me consistently are no longer on medication because the original symptoms the medication is designed to treat are no longer present.
